Almost all major construction work on the ZIP has now been commissioned. The work on the external structure is nearly complete, and the final assembly of the perimeter walkways is currently underway. The greening measures have already been implemented on the roof, and the installation of the photovoltaic modules is forthcoming. 

Inside, the structure is also taking more and more shape: the expansion of the office, communication, and laboratory areas is in the final phase. Key elements such as glass partitions, floor coverings, and doors have mostly been installed, while the (acoustically optimized) ceilings are currently being installed. 

At the same time, the expansion of the laboratory areas is also proceeding according to schedule, including the complex expansion work of the BIO3 area with special requirements for all components. The building services infrastructure such as ventilation, heating, cooling, and power supply are already largely installed, and the first system tests are currently being carried out. 

In the meantime, the terrain modelling has also begun in the outdoor area, so that the project is also progressing visibly from the outside.
